Thought I was going to be OK adding a filefish to my tank since I have no "meaty LPS", zoas, or palys. But it turns out they like to eat the eyes out of chalices!!!! Of course he chose my JF Crazy Fox to snack on :(

Lucky I was able to catch him fairly quickly and take him back to the LFS for an exchange.

Wow. I just evicted mine after about two years of outstanding work eliminating an aiptasia outbreak and then maintaining the peace in my tank. Then I noticed him nipping at a sun coral, instead of evicting him then I just stayed away from certain corals. Unfortunately I caught him taking bites out of a couple of new acans. Now he's simply narrowed my coral selection too far and he had to go. I'll pay attention to my chalices and see if I see improvement in them.
