Filer Sock Maintenance, What do you do?

I use polyfil in a basket i made from a plastic bottle, holes drilled in the bottom/lower sides, siliconed to a ring off an old sock. Its much easier to change out and a bag of polyfil batting costs only a few bucks and lasts months. That said when i did run socks I mostly used mesh and would turn inside out and rinse out in sink, super easy to wash. Occasionally i would throw in a felt sock for a day or two then wash in a double rinse inside out with a small ammount of bleach then air dry.

Yeah if you're really not fond of socks, you can buy some of these if you don't want to craft them yourself.

I throw some poly floss into my sock and throw the poly away every few days leaving the sock in place. This really cuts down sock cleaning or changing time. I also find this catches quite a bit of junk. Anything for less maintenance.
