It floats and adjusts down up to 2-3" to compensate water level. Although for salinity reasons shouldn't run that low. Not an issue.

Just make sure your water level is consistent. Otherwise you'll be sucking air.

I have mine a little high, but the skimmer float is actually a good bit longer than my pic shows.

Ohh sweet, but yeahh I don't have an ato but I keep my tank topped off all the time. I almost never see my water level because it's always hidden by the trim from being full, but I'm definitely gonna have to get one it looks like the perfect thing.

Do any of you guys know of any good places to get corals? I can't really find anywhere local (upper middle Tennessee) there is one place but I'm looking for zoas and I don't really wanna pay 20 dollars for 2 polyps. Not to hate on the place because it's a really good place, I'm just not loaded with cash haha. It can be online also too, just as long as the shipping isn't 50 bucks to ship a coin sized piece xD
