I've read a lot of these postings before and was under the impression that the Filmtec was a subpar nano filter at the 100gpd capacity. Here is my setup. I'm on a well that tds is around 1150. The water goes through a Culligan water softener and a 10 micron culligan cellur filter before my system. I'm using a 5 micron sediment, 1 micron sediment then a carbon block. Filmtec 100gpd membrane boosted to 85 psi before the membrane. TDS before the di is between 15-20. It's like a 99% rejection rate. Im at 4-1 ratio as well. I use the system to fill my various tanks and use it in the yard as well to wash vehicles because the well water leaves way to many spots. Di media is from Buckeye hydro and Im at 0 out of the dual canisters. So whats the consensus Here? I thought the filmtec 100s were in the low 90s rejection. Thanks

When boosted like you are running, I see pretty much the same results from the 150gpd membranes. I do run the BRS water saver kit with a second 150gpd membrane. TDS before DI is 10-20 and 0 after. Fills a brute trash can in about 3 hours.

That's good to know. I wanted to step up to a 150gpd but was wondering if the rejection would be the same as I'm getting now. Was looking at the spectrapure 90gpd plus but I have multiple tanks and I have a 275g IBC tote that is set up for water usage and storage. And that takes about 150 a week. So if I get a straight 150gpd membrane and boost it to 85 psi I should get the 99% as the 100gpd im getting now. Thanks
