Filmy water???

Can anybody see this film on top of my water everything in my tank is all mechanical im not real scientific with it so any ideas

But generally organics from foods.
Surface agitation. Overflow should ne taking care of it.

Some foods I’ve noticed do that more than others. Generally more fatty foods.

Ugh my phone sucks so i have a esopps 200 on a 125 am i filtering enouph

Are you running socks ?

From time to time my sump has gotten funky. The overflow “should be “ pulling that stuff down , but if the sump is a bit too much funk it can blow back up.

Take a look anyway. Usually doesn’t matter but I’ve had times when it did. lol
