Filter advise

I have a 300 gallon tank with 2 Banded catsharks

What kind of filter do I need to get in the future I may want to turn into a rea aquarium and may have to purchase in a different aquarium so I want to get a filter that would be good enough to handle this and also a Reef 300 gallons

You will want a need a protein skimmer to remove waste which they make a lot of and also good water current at lower part of tank. Clean water is key to keeping these guys healthy. I suggest a 10–15% water change weekly assuring bottom sand has no waste laying around
Maintain steady salinity and temperature. Cooler water will slow down metabolism whereas warm will subject them to health issues
