It's been just over two weeks since I set it up and I have essentially done nothing but feed it. As a beginner, it looks like diatoms are in so I ask, what am I looking for? Can I add some hardy snails w/o a filter? Because of summer the temps are changing from like 78-82, is this too much for the tank? I know it needs nitrates phosphates iron etc but what do I need to really be testing? Focus is chaeto growth, appearance and little effort. Thank you in advance!
