Filter Media Bag

Hi,

Would 300 micron bag be ok for a media bag? GFO, rowaphos, Rox 0.8 Carbon, etc...

They work. Although you get more mileage out of your media if you run it through a reactor. Also easier to rinse the media prior to use with a reactor vs the mesh.

I have 2 reactors hard plumbed with pvc one of those isn't being unused at the moment.

Rinsing isn't easy since the output goes direct into sump.

I can probably use the bags to rinse first then add to reactor. Was thinking about the bags to make the whole process easier when having to change out without dealing with the AquaMaxx
