Filter media with Live sand and rock cycling

I am currently in day 2 of cycling my tank (32 gal Biocube). If I started with 30 lbs live sand and 27 lbs of cured live rock from a reputable LFS should I be using anything other than filter floss at this stage? Is there harm to the cycle if I put chemipure original in my filter tray?

I'd leave any carbon or GFO (including ChemiPure) out until after the tank has cycled.

Thanks. After thinking about it I realize that that makes sense since the filter media is basically removing the ammonia which is needed for the cycle for the bac to grow correct?
