Hey guys, I have a JBJ 28 Nanocube mixed reef. I have an “Intank” media basket. I run white/blue floss in the top, purigen in the middle, and chemipure blue on the bottom. I also have a two little fishies reactor that I sometimes run gfo. Is there a better way, or better media to run with this setup?
I also have montipora Seasons Greetings/and Idaho Blue “plating “ .problems, they grow great, but the color is very pale. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I stopped gfo, started feeding a bit more. Nitrate is about 10, phosphate is about 2-3..

Purigen and carbon/chemipure blue is just fine in a cube like that. And for your coral problems, if you don't feed them I'd get a decent mix of phytoplankton (the reef blend from brine shrimp direct is great, or shellfish diet from reed mariculture) and some fine powdered coral food. Food usually helps especially if you're running a good amount of chemical media and keeping the system clean.

Thank you guys! I have reef chili, and coral frenzy. I’ll try feeding a bit more often.
