Filter set up?

i currently have a jbj 45. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these and how you had your filter compartments set up? Right now I use the sponge provided with the tank, I changed the ceramic to bio spheres and carbon in the final compartment. I have an aqua max hob skimmer and phosphate reactor with npx pellets. Any recommendations on what else I could add or subtract to make it more efficient?

I personally really like having filter floss. Nice and cheap and it does a good job keeping the water clear of particles
