Filter sock question

Anyone know if there are shorter filter socks than the standard 6"-8" available? I've got a 10 gallon sump but the 6" sock is a bit too long. I can't get it up high enough on the overflow discharge pipe to keep it from bunching up on the bottom.

I've never seen any shorter ones, but I have seen people that make their own pretty easily, or if you have a sewing machine you could sew the socks you have to whatever length you want and then cut off the excess just a thought
