Filter socks - holiday vacation

I am currently using filter socks. Looking at the up coming holidays when I will be away from the system for three weeks. Do I just leave the socks in and let them overflow or just remove them for three weeks?

I use my Klir for vacation, works like a charm.

Or just have someone dump in a bucket and swap them out twice a week or once or yeah just leave em or don’t leave any socks. Lots of options.

I do not have anyone to swap them out. How I leave the tank is how it will be when I get home.
The ATO, autofeeder and doser run the tank.

Sounds like you may need to make friends with a neighbor

You can switch to a higher micron filter sock that way it doesn’t get clogged up as fast.
Or split the work between adding two or more filter socks so they won’t get clogged as fast (if you have the plumbing)

I'd just remove the sock too. But I don't normally run any either.
