Filter Socks, run or remove during vacation?

When I get back from Vacation my Filter Socks are of course clogged and overflowing. Also I had a bit of multi Algae Blooms in both displays. Wondering if it would be better to just leave them out for a Vacation that’s longer than five days.

I remove 1 of my 4, just in case.

I go from felt to mesh socks.
