I rinse after take them off. Then when enough of them are dirty, I throw in washer with bleach on quick hand wash cycle. Then I run the rinse cycle like 4 times. Then hang to dry for at minimum 48 hrs before use again. Never had an issue yet.

Yeah, I've been reading a lot about washing machines. What about just bleach, water and a bucket. 4 wash loads seems like a lot of water

Me to then I soak them in a bucket with a cap full of bleach overnight. Then back in the wash just on spin cycle. Dry overnight. The bleach takes the smell out of them.

I toss mine in washer and run them on the sanitize cycle with 2 extra rinse cycles to ensure to get all the soap out. I do 12 at a time and they come out perfect.

I rinse after I take them off. When I collect enough I soak in a bucket of RO water with a capful of bleach. Then when enough of them are dirty, I turn them inside out and throw in washer no soap or bleach on normal wash cycle. Then I run the rinse cycle like 1 extra time. Then hang to dry before use again at least a week. Never had an issue yet.

That is a loaded question....almost as bad as asking what type of light should I use :) I initially clean them under running water to remove all of the gunk. I then soak them in a bleach/water solution for a couple of days. Finally, I replace the bleach water with fresh water (along with some chemical I got from my reef store that makes any leftover bleach harmless). I then hang them to air dry.

No need to take bleach away. It dissipates fairly quickly. Rinsing and drying should do the trick. Just trying to save you some money.

I wash mine in the washing machine as well with a lil bleach and rinse an extra time. Then let them dry out for 48 hours as well. Never had any issues yet.

I run an empty load in the washer just with bleach first. Then I put the socks in and wash them with just regular bleach. I add an extra rinse cycle and hang them to completely dry before using.

Doing this works great , never had an issue. [emoji4]
