Filter sucks washed.

My wife accidentally washed all my felt filter socks in the laundry with regular detergent. Are these socks trashed?

No. Wash again with a little bleach then run on rinse 3 times.
Happens all the time.

Na, wash them again with no soap and run an extra rinse cycle and you should be fine. Same thing has happened at our place. Hug her and thank her for trying to help

Oh no! Don't get too mad at her lol, this should be a somewhat easy fix. I'd suggest leaving it in a tub of water and bleach (a few caps) and they should be good for use. Don't trash them ! : )

edit: as others have mentioned, rinse cycle afterwards! forgot to mention

Your wife did you a huge favor! Go buy her a flowers, candy, and some nice clothes!

Get rid of the filter socks and never have to clean them again. Get small 3D filter cups to replace filter socks and change out small piece of filter floss every week. You owe your wife big time!
