I have a hob filter on my 10gal nano. How often should i clean the filter. Tanks about 3 weeks old

I used to clean my HOB filter weekly alongside water changes. Remember to wash any biological media in old tank water (from water changes) instead of freshwater to save the filter bacteria.

It is like a slide in filter like you use for freshwater too? With filter cartridges? Which get replaced about once a month but aren’t the best for saltwater.

They're the slide in filters and it's a 10 gallon nano one blue damsel couple hermits. About 15lbs of lr and 12lbs of sand

And tanks not dirty nor is filter just didn't know how often I should rinse it out.
