I am just throwing 11oz bags of Chemipure Blue into my filter socks and calling it a day. Should I use this product differently?

I am just throwing 11oz bags of Chemipure Blue into my filter socks and calling it a day. Should I use this product differently?

I put mine in one of the sump chambers. Does the sock clog? That would be my only concern.

On occasion the first sock backs up but it just flows to the second (they are in a series).
