Filtration suggestions

I currently have a 29 gallon saltwater aquarium but in about a year I plan on upgrading it to a 55 or so. With that in mind I would like to be buy a filtration system that I can use now but will be good for when I get the bigger tank. I currently only have 2 HOB filters. I’ve been doing research on canister filters and sumps. Can someone tell me the pros and cons of each and which I should go with? I have 2 clowns and scooter blenny and no coral but plan on getting some after upping my filtration. Thanks!

Imo both of those are too big for your tank and you should just buy a all in one tank
