I have had this tank set up three different times and never realized the stand pipe was adjustable. So I gained maybe 4 gallons in the corner flo overflow. I also see most people try to run the skimmer in the drain or dirtiest. The way my sump is I rearrange the skimmer and tried this method. The drain tube I also turned in a different direction to aim for the skimmer. I also turned the clean water aimed at a 2” gap in the sponge I have for free pod swim space and for blockage. Am I doing too much and overthinking it

Looks good to me. Usually drains go to a filter sock or media then to the skimmer then fuge or other filtration and then last to the return area. Skimmer should be far away from return pump due to microbubbles.

I used to run a filter sock back in 2011 it was o.k. This time I got a reactor and if I want to polish the water I just throw some poly fill stuffing in there.

Where to you think the best place for return lines are

I try to keep most of the lock line out to prevent anything from getting trapped
