I am buying a Red Sea Reefer 300 and am looking to get the Bubble Magus curve A5 skimmer to go with it. I’m new to the hobby and was wondering if anyone had had any problems with the skimmer or any better alternatives?

you could use a canister filter or such, if you can find one thats cheap enough.

They are great skimmers for the price .
I didn’t like mine and packed it away in the box it came from
It was used on a 90 gal . It worked ok but too much tinkering for my liking .
