Just checking. Please give comments.

My Waterbox 20g has the following filtration. Does these enough for the growth of beneficial bacteria?

I have 10KG live rock and 10kg special grade live sand.

In order:

First chamber:
Filter sock (few filter floss inside)

Second chamber:
Bio sponge X1
Biohome Ultimate Marine 1KG
Bio balls (a bag)
Seachem De-nitrate (a bag)
Activated charcoal

Are these good? Anything should be changed? I want to maintain this long term without distracting or distributing them.

Thank you for help :)

If you're running a filter sock you typically don't need filter floss as well (unless you're using a media basket).

I'd probably need to see a picture of what you all have in the second chamber (it sounds like a lot, but it may be fine).

How should I take the pictures to show you?

The rock is pretty much all you need for filtration. Maybe change a little water every now and then. When you do do a water change and stir things up you can put some filter floss or a sponge in one of the chambers to the polish the water until it's clear. Aside from that just keep it simple. Less is more sometimes. GL.

I have a similar water box. 15 lbs of LR, a little filter floss in a cup that goes into the filter sock holder, a small nano sized bag of chemipure blue that is in the cup with the floss. That's is.
