Fin rot on blue spotted puffer?

I've had this blue spotted puffer for about five years. It's in a 180g tank with a snowflake eel and yellow tang. All of the water parameters are fine, and I don't suspect nipping from the yellow as the two fish have gotten along well for years. No other animals have been added to the tank for several years either.

The puffer isn't eating right now either, and is hanging out in a different area of the tank than it normally does. I have all of SeaChem's medication on hand. If this is fin rot, what is the best medication to use?

That looks bacterial to me. It’s likely that the fin got damaged and became infected. I would try treating with kanaplex or other antibiotics.

What other fish are in with it? Looks like fresh damage from aggressor than fin rot but with the hemorrhaging will heal with treatment
Best choices would be seachem neoplex or ruby rally pro
Neoplex will require quarantine while ruby can be applied to display tank but best in quarantine to provide opportunity for healing
You can place your cell phone on video mode for an hour and walk away - MUST WALK AWAY and come and view it and see if any occupants going after it’s tail

The only other two fish in the tank are a snowflake eel and a yellow tang. The puffer and tang have always gotten along well, so sudden aggression would be a surprise to me. I have a Wyze cam set up to monitor the tank when I'm away and I haven't seen any sort of aggression between the fish.

Today he started darting around erratically and went belly up for several minutes. He's also gasping for air, though I'm doing everything I can to make sure there's enough oxygen in the water. Is it possible there's something more than the bacterial infection? I've started treatment so I'm hoping that helps.

Yes, it’s bacterial and I gave you treatment above.

He died this morning, just a few days before the 5th anniversary of getting him. No other signs of disease other than the fin rot. He will be missed.
