Hi Guys! Hey some help here, out of nowhere my file fish slowly losing his or her fin. Any thoughts or advise? Water perimeter are pristine. The fish eats like a pig and the rest of the fish are perfect

Typically, sharped edged fin erosion like this is caused by some mechanical trauma. Usually, that is aggression from another fish in the tank. You'll likely never see that happen - it's over in a split second and this light amount of damage can happen from just a few bites over a period of days/weeks.

I saw a wrasse in the tank, what other fish do you have?

Nutritional issues and some systemic issues like HLLE can cause fin erosion, but not focused on just the dorsal fin like that.

Bacterial fin rot makes more rounded edges, and it usually gets its start from some mechanical damage.

Flukes can cause minor fin fraying, but again, all fins would be more evenly affected.

Tough to say if perhaps the angel or the wrasse caused this or if it is something else.
