I scored a yellow watchman goby last night! Poor guy is so small I barely even noticed him at the store, only about 3/4 inch.
After putting him in the tank when I got home, I noticed the right fin is missing, and looks like it may be fin rot?
Healthy appetite, can still swim alright, but not really well.

Hoping someone here can help me with some direction as to what I should do, or if anything is possible.

I am feeding a mix of red and green nori, pellets, reef frenzy, and reefroids and reef snow for the corals.
I can provide tank specs and water parameters if necessary.

Hard to tell from the pic!

Fin rot is a bacterial infection. QT with wide spectrum antibiotics are the weapons of choice: Kanaplex, Furan2, Sulfaplex (triple sulfa), NFG, etc. Treat for 10 full days and 14 if need be. Fish are very slow to respond to meds. High quality fresh or frozen foods with vitamins like Selcon, etc. will help the fish's immune system to recover the best.

I'll try to get a better pic, it's hard since hes so small and hangs out on the bottom and I'm starting to have a problem with too much coraline algae growing near the substrate

I am feeding with selcon on everything I add to the tank. Unfortunately my qt turned into a fulltime frag tank, gotta save up a little and keep a qt ready.
