I have a trigger that has a pretty significant episode of fin rot on his tail. He, of course, chose to come down with this during my kitchen renovation when the tank was incredibly hard to get at.
Anyway, he has been in a hospital tank with triple antibiotics for closing in on 2 weeks now. They're does not appear to be any fungus. There's no way he's going to have significant repair of his tail in this sort of time period. However, he doesn't eat well and is getting skinnier in QT. He hides in the pipes constantly. So, I want to get him back in the main tank where he's happier. It's there any sign I should look for? Or just say he's reached 14 days of treatment, give it a shot?
