Fin rot?

3 to 5 days!? yikes! Hopefully I acted fast enough.

Fish is up and out and about this morning and eagerly ate his breakfast (so did the blenny).

No, the eyes aren't cloudy. It looks like this on the pictures because of the reflection of the retina and crappy picture quality.

I do see some white/discoloration on his tail base. Also his pec fin has gotten a little more white.

Also, should I add an anti-fungal just in case? Or hold off until after the Furan treatment?

Unless the fin base is involved, the fins will grow back.

There's some faint but definite white patches on the edges of his tail base. Will this be concerning considering the antibiotics might take a couple days to start working?

Also definitely more milky white on the damaged pec fin this morning, I don't think it has frayed more, but the white is new.

From this morning. You can clearly see the new white on his pec and anal fins, as well as the sad state of the caudal fin :( Also some white at the tail base (and on, but not visible in those pictures). This was after 12h Furan.

I'm freaking out over those white patches so close to and on the tail base :(

Please, anyone with any experience, any chance to stop this before it's too late?

Are parts that are already white definitely gonna die off? What if there's already white on the hypural plate?
