The first picture is my first clown fish that I got it came from the store with its fins like this.
The next picture is of the clown fish I just purchased the day I got it. As you can see my first clown fish has made some progress on its anal fin and pectoral fin but the tail fin has deteriorated a lot.
The last picture is of my newest clown and it appears to have the same thing goin on. I don’t understand why this is happening. If it is fin rot why has it healed on some of the fins and progressed in others and why would my newest clown have its fins deteriorate over night. If anyone has any insight or knowledge please fill me in.

Looks more like aggression to me. Clowns are mean to each other and will take bites out of each other’s fins (usually the dominant female attacking the male).

These are clear bite marks and there’s an aggressor likely in the tank
One way to find it is to place cell phone on video mode for about 45 mins and feed. Aggressors get pushy to hog all the food
Then walk away- must walk away
Come back and review video and you should see who it is

Thanks for the replies. So what would cause it to continue disintegration and what could I do to promote regrowth?
