So looking for a few ideas for my last fish to add. I’ve got a reefer 350 up and running nearly 3 months now.

so far i have 2 clowns, 3 green chromis, 1 midas blenny, 1 royal gramma, 1 banggai cardinal, 1 crosshatch goby and 1 carpenter wrasse. So 10 fish.

they are all still young so small enough. Id like to add a kole tang last, just waiting for one to become available, tough at the moment in Ireland with covid restrictions.

Anyway, I’m thinking I can at 2 or 3 more fish as seen as most of what I have are fairly small, even when fully grown. I’d like to add more movement to the tank and also maybe something a bit larger than what I have, something in between small and the size of a Kole tang. I would like a flame angel or Coral beauty, but coral nipping puts me off.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Dwarf angels definitely add a great deal of liveliness to a tank. But definitely a bit of a gamble.

If you want to go the angel route, consider a Genicanthus. They're all reef safe and don't grow as large as the non-dwarf angels. My personal (somewhat affordable) favorite is the Japanese Swallowtail (G. semifasciatus). Watanabes are quite nice as well.

Otherwise, maybe a smaller anthias pair? I've thought about adding a pair of Sunsets (parvirostris) to my 80g.

Honestly, I'd add a green clown goby and not even consider it in your bioload. They are cheap, easy to find, have great color, stay tiny, live among the coral, and they live a long time. I'm not sure how long exactly, but I got my male as an adult and he's been with me for 8 years now. His name is Gobias (pronounced like Tobias) and he loves acros!
