I know it's my choice but I wanted to get some ideas from the masses.
I have a 125 gallon mixed reef tank and I'm looking to add the final fish. I want this fish to be THE fish.
Current inhabitants:
Two clowns
2 scissor tail dart
2 pajama Cardinals
2 blue green chromis
Foxface
Yellow tang
Coral beauty
Midas blenny
Algae blenny
Pink spot goby
Tomini tang
Leopard wrasse
Mystery wrasse
Blue Sapphire damsel

I was thinking a nice tang like Achilles, Sohal
Or
A large angel

Your thoughts?

Get rid of the following:
2 blue green chromis --They are a nuisance fish and territorial. They will pester other fish. Not worth the $5 bucks if you have chaos in tank and some fish in the floor.
Blue Sapphire damsel - Another fish I personally would stay away from.

Achilles make a great tank mate.

That seems like a lot of fish in a 125. I have a 125 gallon with a yellow tang , Scopus tang(. And yes they get along great ) two clowns, and a royal Gramma.

Foxface doesn't bother anything

I'd do a Powder Blue or Powder Brown tang. 125 may be a bit small for the larger angels like an Emperor or Blueface, as they get pretty massive.

I agree you are already pretty heavily stocked, but you know your tank better than I do. I definitely wouldn't put a sohal or Achilles tang it that tank size, they are both known to be extremely aggressive in tight corners. Maybe a sailfin tang or a chocolate mimic tang.

I am getting ready to add a regal angel to my 120g (in a few weeks) she is a STUNNER but took a great deal of work and care to get her to eat properly. I'd say at least 3 weeks. Plus, I won't know how "reef safe" she is until she's in there.

The genicanthus angels could be a good choice. I've always loved the masked swallowtail:

In the larger angel category I really like the goldflake angels they seem to stay a little smaller than the other imperators or queen angels for example. Definitely a stunner fish though

+1 on the Marine Betta... beautiful fish...always gets alot of attention from friends and family in my tank...i had to feed mine with a feeding stick for a week but now he eats like a pig...hasn't touched any of my inverts...comes out more when my lights are coming on or off...also have a small bicolor goatfish...very active and keeps my sand cleaner than my pistol shrimp...will make your water a little cloudy but sand will be great

I have a tank with a similar stock list. I wanted a sort of center piece fish that was really vibrant in color. I added a Blue Hippo Tang this past weekend and it seems like that's all my tank had been missing all this time.

I'd go with the Achilles. I've never had a tank big enough to date but starting to piece together all the components for a 150. Unrelated question, I like those overflows but I cannot find them online anywhere. Does you or anyone know where I can get something similar?
