I am trying to figure out the final fish/es to add to my system based on territorial and space issue not bioload. I have a 35 gallon hexagon tank with about 35 gallons in the sump and running a massive skimmer for my system so bioload isnt the issue. Currently I have 2 ocellaris clowns, 1 firefish, and 1 neon blue goby and will be getting a yellow clown goby by the end of the week. I am interested in adding a combination of 1 or 2 of the following fish:

Cherub angel
Royal gramma
Midas blenny
Coral beauty

Please let me know what your thoughts are I appreciate it thanks.

I really really liked my Coral Beauty. Ate tons of algae, and just the pure looks of them are so awesome. Never really had an issue with it eating things it shouldn't be, but as always, angels are hit or miss. I think you'll be fine. It's truly a great fish. I will say that my Coral Beauty was shy when there were other angels in the tank, but once they were taken out, the fish was happier than ever, and it was not even a tad shy.

Yea I really wanted to get either the CB or cherub but I also wasn't sure if I could get away with adding a RG or MB with one of the angels

IMO/E, a coral beauty will get too big for that size/shape of tank. The C. argi would "fit", however they can/will aggressive with other tankmates in smallish tanks.

Id say kick the coral beauty from the list and add maybe some type of goby or maybe firefish or even a smaller wrasse, mystery perhaps
A little skeptical about the mb just because ive herd they can be aggressive and they get pretty long but im not an expert on them

What do u guys think of adding a royal gramma as the last fish....I have read mixed reviews about them and firefish getting along any first hand experience?

Our Royal Gramma likes to pick on our Snowflake Clowns. But thats most likely because he was in the tank first. The bullying has settled down a lot so I assume it was just so they know hes the boss. They are Beautiful fish and add 2 Great colors to a tank!

I have had 2 over the years -- one was super aggressive, to the point were it attacked a fairy wrasse (( grabbed onto the wrasse's mouth )), and wouldn't let ago for about 30 minutes. After that, its jaw was messed up and it couldn't eat. The current one that I have, is pretty mellow, and leaves my fairy wrasse (( different species )) alone.

In a smaller tank, it might be more aggressive. It is up to you to take the risk, and figure out how hard it would be to remove it is caused issues.

I have 3 royal gramma's in my tank they were the first fish in my 120 but they never have bothered any of my other fish. I did add a purple firefish a few weeks ago and they have not even looked at him. In a 35 gallon aggression might be more of an issue but with the royal gramma going in last it should not be much of an issue.
