im ready to put the final fish in my tank but I would like some opinions on comparability and suitability. I currently have the following:
Yellow eye Koke tang
Coral beauty angel fish
Melanurus wrasse
Long fin fairy wrasse
Fire fish
2 ocellarus clowns
Lawnmower blenny
2 watchman gobies (a pink spotted and blue spotted)

I've been thinking of getting a leopard wrasse and a one spot fox fish (to help clear up algae). I've also been thinking maybe a yellow coris wrasse as well.

Any thoughts or opinions? Am I pushing the stocking level too high?

Ian

Depends on if your tank can keep up with the bioload.
I've been thinking of adding a Leopard wrasse or two to my tank

Looks good to me. :) Although the gobies may clash, especially if they establish their dens in close proximity. CB Angel may nip, but most I've owned have been pretty good about that.

I think I'd skip a foxface in just a 75 gal. They get kinda big and love to poop a lot. ;)

Use a social acclimation box to introduce the new wrasses.

If you go with the foxface the tang may have some initial aggression towards him, but the foxface can take care of itself.

Sounds good to me. Yellow coris are a really special wrasse. Inexpensive and full of personality and a rare color among wrasse. As they turn male they become even more stunning.

I would hold off on leopards until your system is very established. They're very fragile. I would also buy in groups. Buy three one or two will make it generally.

The gobies did clash in the beginning. It was a purchase I never would have made. Unfortunately the owner of the LFS convinced my wife they would be fine. Now after almost a year, they have formed a hierarchy of two and there aren't any problems.
The tang has been problematic at times but is easily distracted with a mirror. Never really had problems with the Angel.
The main reason for the fox face is to take care of the algae. I've been fighting to get it under control for a few months with no success.

I have 12 fishes in my 60g cube... Nitrates always low.. I think you will be fine. I do have a small foxface to take care of the algae... He is here temporary. If you are planning on buy more than one wrasse make sure you put all at the same time. Any wrasse I put in my tank my leopard wrasse kill it.. In a matter of hours... Foxface do an amazing work cleaning algae.

Of course the most fun part is actually finding any of the fish. My LFS barely stock any saltwater fish. They will order anything but add a ridiculous extra amount. My yellow eye Kole tang cost me $75 from them. That was the first and only fish I had them special order.

There is another LFS that specializes in SW fish and corals I can use. I'll check with them. Otherwise it's what ever online company I can find.
