Hi Reefers,
Finally purchased my 1st reef tank. Im the type to go big or go home. I searched for years for a good deal on a large tank. Finally found 1 that a co worker of mine had to sell due to moving out of state.
220 Gallon Peninsula, Acrylic 72L x 24W x 30H
Stand & Canopy
Reef Octo 202 Skimmer
2 36" Reef Breeder Lights
Ecotech Vortech Return
2 Jabeo Powerheads
1 carbon reactor
1 GFO reactor
All plumbing
75 gallon sump
125lbs of live rock
Gravity Fed ATO
Algae scapers/Magnets
Plus livestock/coral that i traded in for $250 Store credit @ LFS
All in all, i paid $600 for a great deal. In the process of cleaning everything.
Then the big project of sanding & polishing tank out. No major scratches but i want tank to look as good as it can.
Anyone Polished an acrylic tank before? Id love some advice or pointers.
