Finally after 3 months 0.00 phosphates

Our relatively new reef 7 months finally hit the big 0 phosphates while dosing vodka. Coral is having explosive growth now and I clean the glasd once a week! Next week I am venturing into vitamin c dosing. Excited about that I hope with this knowledge ive gained I can start adding more expensive / rare corals with no worries. And btw its hot here in FL... lol I think our temp guage is broke...

Oh yeah! It is nice not cleaning the glass everyday, and the water clarity is ridiculous.

HOW did you get our phosphates to 0? I am really struggling. What did you add,use,do??

Secert... read the vodka guide three times and I stress read it and memorize it. Then go buy some cheap vodka and watch them fall. Just be slow and patient!

This was a great read.. Thank you..one thing i dont understand and maybe i just didnt read far enough into it.. Is this something that will always have to be dosed? I am confused with the "maintanance" dose.. I would LOVE to try this. Unfortunately I cannot get my skimmer to work properly,and no one can tell me why.. And the company is VERY unhelpful..

Yes its a daily maintence for me it takes 10 seconds. Deff. Need a skimmer for this you will see stuff in it you have never seen before. You can stop vodka if you want at anytime just have to back off slowly. Im sure you will never stop though once you see your tank. What kind is it?

What kind is what? Tank or skimmer? Skimmer is a 75 HOT Eshopps hasnt worked right for crud since I got it.. Tank is a 75E FOWLR but have has surprise editions. Have some anemonies,palys and other creepy crawly neat things come in with the rock..

Vodka is the greatest thing I've ever done to my tank. Yeah I love sun's so colorful and can transform so much. Ive been to stormborn verh nice store I will have to check them out here soon again. Im ib need of a six line for my frag tank anyways.
