Well, I finally got tired of running phosguard and carbon in a mesh bag in my sump. I don't think it was as effective as it could have been. So I ordered two coralvue mf300b reactors from Brett at nicewrasse.com. I hooked them up tonight and am running some brs gfo and rox 0.8 carbon I had in them. Can't wait to see how this works. If anybody has used this stuff or these reactors please feel free to let me know how it did for you. Thanks.

You should see a difference in your readings by tomorrow! Pulls levels down very quickly. Good choice!

Thanks. No matter what I did I couldn't get my po4 readings below .08ppm. I hope I hooked everything up right. I used both plates and sponges in each reactor. Carbon not tumbling as directed and gfo is tumbling some, but not whole thing. Maybe I packed it in too tight. Will have to see if tumbling more tomorrow.

I keep mine abouta third full. Check UTube for videos that show the gentle tumble. If you put to much in the canister, it is to thick and heavy to create the gentle tumble that you need.

Cool! Any photos?
