I've had freshwater tanks for years, and even worked at a specialty saltwater shop in college, but starting a tank of my own was always too daunting. This past year I finally took the plunge and did tons of research. I'm happy to say I'm 4.5 months into the tank running and things have been going smoothly so far. My LFS has been so great in helping with my 8000 questions.
Nice to be here and I can't wait to keep going!

Thanks! Its a 60 gallon cube. Purchased it about 2 years ago unexpectedly when a petco near me was going out of business. Got a heck of a deal on the tank, but everything else has been wicked expensive since... That's saltwater though! I wanted to invest in good stuff.
