DIY Tank 48”x24”x16” 1/2” glass using “injection molding” process to seal. Back painted black.


-DIY Sump 40 breeder with jaxracks baffle kit. Back and sides painted black and bottom painted blue.


-DIY stand with 2x4 and 2x6 framing wrapped with 3/4” black walnut plywood and trimmed with lineal black walnut with Purple Heart inlays.

Nothing special...just uses cabinet bumpstops to be elevate the panels to get a thicker bond

Glass cost $380.,.Yes I’m a carpenter of 32 years...cabinet cost was under $200

I just started my custom build as well this thing looks very nice. Go check out mine under .....diamond in the rough..... build thread. Very well done super clean. I was able to get the ato tank built and working on the 90 gal. Tank now that the ato is done. Really enjoy seeing more diy tanks arent that many on here when searching and seeing the tape up process and everything.
