Well the weather is finally nice in Florida for the moment and I have had my windows open and I noticed my pH has gone up and my alkalinity and calcium has gone down. The higher the ph the more consumption and accelerated growth which is driving me crazy. I don't have a Trident or a Reefbot so I'm went from once a week test to sometimes twice a day with a significant swing (.3 to .8) swing am to pm and cal 15 to 20. Any one in the same boat. Chime in!

I wish I had that problem. It's hot and humid during the fall and winter where I live and then hotter and more humid during the spring and summer.

I run my skimmer line outside and basically keep my windows open almost year round. pH is always on the higher side but I guess I’ve dialed in everything else over time. Just take it as a husbandry learning experience. While I hate tinkering, sometimes it’s a must. Good luck @Vinman and enjoy the weather!
