Cleaning the surrounding of the stalactite

Well when i made it i made sure i could remove it for the cleaning of my glass in fron and beside.

Early in the morning before the polyps are deployed i unscrew my bolt and take the stalactite out of its support.

And i put it on its side to clean it takes 5 min.

Natural formation

Many ask me why did i do or where did i get the idea for a stalactite in the fist place. The more cynical just say stalactite don't exist in the water.

i got the inspiration from these;

I think mine is pretty acurate.....

And i got the NPS zone from these;

So i think i've combine the two stalactite and NPS pretty good, from nature's point of view.

Very nice. My only concern would be when the hose wears out and breaks. Might last a couple years but might become brittle over time.

Hose? Do you mean the nylon thread, thats not going to change, nylon is used in the navy , because it doesn't change under saltwater conditions. And to wear well you need to use it in some way, it only hangs there. So its there till i tear the tank down. Its not hollow by the way its hard, flexible which is good too,and doesn't corode either.

Was talking about this one. I guess on a phone it looks like a plastic hose. But now that I zoom in ignore my comment :)

LOL ahh those iphones LOL can't see really good in there, they should invent something with bigger screens lol , peace bro , no worries.:couch2:
