Hello Reef2Reef! So excited to say I’m getting my feet wet again after almost 3 years dry!
I had an 80 gallon system (two 40 breeders, one display, one sump) but had to take it down in 2016 one month before my wedding because one of the seams separated and I didn’t have the time or resources to repair it and keep it going.
New system is an IM Lagoon 25 as I wanted to go smaller once we moved into our own house. Lighting is 2 AI Prime HD. Water movement is the stock return pump (undecided if I’m going to replace it or not) and a Gyre Icecap 1K. Still stuck on what to use for a heater or skimmer (not sure what is best for the back compartments)- any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. The plan is to be heavy sps corals, maybe a clam and/or a BTA. Looking to get it wet in the next 7-10 days- CAN NOT WAIT!!!
Please enjoy pictures of my scape as I am SUPER proud of how it can out.
...And one of my old tank before it had to come down, I miss my clown pair, they were so much fun and gentle enough to be hand fed.
