Finally getting ready to start cycling.

Can anyone tell me when I mix saltwater to start do I use a premium salt or wait until my tank is cycled?

Well lets see....I use a "premium" salt called Instant Ocean. It's the most popular salt and close to the least expensive. I'd suggest using this salt.

Now that said, salt is like spaghetti sauce (gravy for Italians), everyone has their own favorite, so expect to get every salt known to man.

I would just use whatever salt you plan on using for the duration of your tank.
