that's what I said! he did eat it. I looked down from the top and watched him slowly but surely choke it down. he even took another one that I was trying to give to the largest of the 3That silverside is freaking huge, are you sure he ate it and it's not in the den somewhere.

gotcha, I'll try and give him smaller silversides or cut them into pieces. however he seems to be quite the fan of large meals, a growing eel needs lots of food!Whoa, I don't think I've ever seen a juvi ribbon eat something that large. Not that it's going to kill him but just be careful, this is what triggers regurgitation and may contribute to constipation. I've come back to my tank and seen chunks of regurgitated food, you may not see it if it's behind the rocks or somewhere out of site. Constipation may also be an effect of eating too many large food items. At least reef level mg or even a little higher may help with digestion. It's great they eating so well.

right! he seems to like to go exploring once a week, definitely the adventurous one of the groupAfter seeing that I don't think I would worry too much, as long as he keeps it down. And if he's out and about a few days later you know he's digesting fine.
