Mine are tank raised, so their avoidance of my nems fits right in with your experience.FWIW - if they are tank raised it will be hit or miss if they will go to the anemone. If they are wild caught, they need to be on of the species that go to that anemone in nature.
Although there are exceptions, that is my experience.

Wow, I never realized this, because BTA hosting seems pretty common around here (Chicagoland reefers).Hosting success rates with bubble tips are pretty poor. More that than whether captive bred or wild caught. None of my captive bred clowns ever turned down a magnifica anemone .... unfortunately those are a lot harder to keep.
