After tanking a 7 year break from the hobby I have returned! Just finished setting my tank up today and started the cycle. It's a 15 gallon Aqueon Column. Made a few minor mods, cut out the top brace and part of the back to fit my fuge and spray painted the back with PlastiDip black rubber paint. Using a Jebao SW2 wavemaker & Hydor 50 watt heater. Aragalive Black gravel, CPR hang on back fuge with Brightwell aquatics Coral Lagoon Substrat & Xport Bio cubes in the return chamber. I've got a light coming for the fuge. Right now I'm running the Fluval Nano LED but the AI Prime 16HD is on its way! I'm super excited to be back in the saddle again especially when life is so boring thanks to CoVid! Definitely got something to keep my busy. The one thing that needs to change ASAP is that I got rock from two different places so it's two different shades of purple I'm way too much of a perfectionist to let this slide. I realize in time it will all be covered in real coralline algae and look the same but I'm an in the moment kind of guy! Lol Got another box on the way, it will be fixed. I started my cycle with the Brightwell Microbacter StartXLM & the Brightwell Quikcycl. Never used it so we'll see how it goes. I'm excited to be a part of this community.
