Those frag plugs don't look good in your tank, you should just send those to me to help clear up your aquascape
No it looks really good. Great pictures, what kind of phone do you have?

You should definitely be proud, thanks for sharing. :)

Excellent images and healthy great acropora.
Thank you for the compliments! It's been a lot of trial and error over the years but I think they are all finally happy and healthy.

Lol funny you mention the frags. I'm hoping to look into starting a frag tank to try to make a little money so I'm glad you like them!

As for the phone it is an iPhone 7 plus. Great for the top downs but still haven't figured out the FTS yet lol.

Sweet pics! I love the large, mature colonies and how things have grown around each other.
Thanks! Some of those colonies are like 4 years old at this point. I do some pruning but I have certainly let things grow into each other lol

Your tank is absolutely stunning! I hope my tank gets halfway to where yours is. I really like that dark blue Acropora, does it have a name? I would be interested if you decided to frag that one.
I dig the way you don't overdo it with the blue lights, it is so hard to appreciate when I see pictures of tanks all blued out, you can really see the natural beauty of your tank with that lighting.
what kind of lights are you using?

Very nice, give us more details on your tank. Looks like you have no fish?

Thank you so much for the great compliments! It has taken quite some time to get the tank to the state it is now.

I'm not sure which acro you are referring to, would you be able to tell me which picture you are talking about?

And as for the lights I am running a hoge poge T5 retro fit system made up of 4 80 watt bulbs and 8 24 watt bulbs. It's weird but it basically equates to just over a 6 bulb fixture. All in all it's 2 blue plus (80 watt), 2 ab special (80 watt), 4 blue plus (24 watt), 2 ab special (24 watt) and 2 purple plus (24 watt).

Funnily enough it seems like all but one of my fish escaped my pictures. The fish I have are as follows:
1 regal blue tang
1 yellow tang
1 kole tang
1 Picasso clownfish
1 tomato clownfish
1 ocellaris clownfish
1 melanarus wrasse
1 green coris wrasse
1 candy basslet
1 yellow striped chromis

As for details:
150 gallon display
55 gallon sump
512 watts of T5 (specifics above)
2 MP40QD (constant mode full power)
Reef Octopus SRO5000
15 gallon refugium (miracle mud and chaeto)
Kalwasser ATO
3 channel volumetric doser (140 ml calcium per day, 85 ml soda ash per day, 20 ml magnesium per day - all BRS)
2 mag drive returns
~150 lbs live rock
~40 lab live sand

Pretty simple setup compared to some, at least I think. Don't think I'm forgetting anything crucial at the moment but feel free to let me know if I left something out!

The one in the sixth picture down in your post, next to what I would call a lemon/lime colored acro

I have been contemplating going t5 on my 90 gallon and every time I see a nice tank like yours more times than not it's running under t5s
I currently have a nice high end LED that has beautiful color but I'm not getting the growth I think I should, new corals are slow to color up, and never quite get to that color I bought them expecting to get.

Well I hate to say it but that coral is more purple in person than in that picture, but still nice. I have no idea what it might be called because most of my corals were purchased many years ago as no namers when I knew very little about making good coral purchases lol. However, I actually just did frag that one and put it up on the rack to see if bringing it a little higher might change the color a little bit so I can keep you posted on how it looks.

First off I will say that when I first started it was AI Hydra 52's for me. Never really liked them. I had poor coloration, slow growth and yet still managed to burn stuff. After the switch to T5's I was incredibly happy with my choice. Things certainly turned around and started looking up. That being said, my friend happens to work at WorldWideCorals and they having been running the Radion Gen4 Pro on all of their tanks for several months now. I was up there a few weeks ago and all I have to say is WOW. I have been an LED hater since the Hydras but seeing those Radions certainly got me to open my mind. Just because my experience with LEDs was poor doesn't mean they don't work. I do believe however that Radions are the best on the market by far and probably the best choice if trying to do SPS. On any large tank I do it will probably always be T5's for me but I am thinking about a nano SPS reef that would be too small for T5's and I would go with the Radion hands down after seeing what it is capable of. I hope that helps!
