Finally guys

Lol. That's why I always say generally or usually when talking about fish. Always one out there that has to be different.
That's the truth brother. I wanted to reach in the tank and choke the crap out of that fish when I saw it nip my beloved tomini that I looked so long for.

I thank everyone that has helped with advice. I am a true newbie. Today i tested my water and my parameters are as follows.
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrate 5 ppm
Salinity 1.026
Phosphate 0.25
Cal 460
Alk 12 dkh
Ph 8.1
I'M GOING FISH SHOPPING. YYYYEEEAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that that's outta the way, I was thinking possibly a yellow tang, a lawnmower blenny, and either a green chromis or hippo tang. What do you awesome people think? Possibly a cleaner shrimp?
Way to go man! [emoji2] [emoji225] I don't remember if your running GFO or not but you still want your phosphate down below 0.1 no worries tho fish won't mind a bit! Super happy for you and looking forward to some pics!

I believe acceptable phosphate levels are <0.03ppm and ammonia is <0.1ppm.

I would not get yellow or blue tang just to small of a tank. I had one in my 55 and he got cramped and was not happy. I would get a chromis first wait a week then add a pair of clowns not a couple. Clowns will pair and kill the rest. Wait a week again and get a lawnmower blenny. I recommend maybe a flame or a coral buety angel instead of a tang. They both eat alage and the angels are less agressive and don't pick at corals. Take it slow patience is key;). Hope this helps:)

I'm not running gfo at all. Might see about picking up a reactor this weekend but my sump is so cramped now that i wouldn't know where to put it. I think they make some that the actual reactor is outside the sump, don't they?

Ya you can run a reactor outside the sump. You can also put it in a mesh bag and rinse the dust out in your sink and throw the bag in a high flow area in your sump. You fish shopping today?

I don't really know about a high flow area in the sump. Everything is pretty even speed in my sump. Would in one of the baffles be enough flow rate for a mesh bag with gfo and carbon?

Yes if you have a wide enough set of baffles. By high flow I just mean a place where the water will have to flow thru the bag. Mix the GFO with cartoon so it doesn't clump or use phasguard by seachem. It's an aluminum oxide product that will drop your p04 in three or four days and doesn't clump. Rinse either one before you put it in the sump.
