FINALLY! I got a Canon 7D!!

I made a video with it today,but youtube makes it look pixellated...and im not sure how to psot it straight from my pc...

I like that dragonfly pic!! Very nice considering you were using the stock lens.

I use windows movie maker and convert the video for youtube. All the other programs I tried were insanely complicated. I wish i could remember the exact settings but its been awhile.

I have a cool video of blastomussa spawning that I need to upload, I'll post instructions when I get it up on you tube.

You will absolutely love the Canon 7D. I upgraded, from a Canon Xt, to the 7D, about a year ago. It's SO MUCH "smarter." For instance, when shooting Jpg, with the Xt, I always had to set a custom white balance, to each different tank I shot, and I shot a lot of tanks. With the 7D, I never once had to set a custom white balance. It got every tank perfect, using Auto White Balance. It even got LED lit tanks perfect. Now, I shoot almost everything in RAW, so don't worry about that, but it's a great example of how much "smarter" the 7D is.

What lens do you have for it? I bought an XSi a few years back, but i've been upgrading me lens collection instead of my body. (although I would love a 60D)

WAIT how can I convert files on movie maker? I thought they had to be converted before you put them on MM?

Yesterday after church, I went to eat lunch with the family and on the way home I passed this barn....turns out it was an OLD mule barn.

I was in nice clothes so I couldnt get ALL of the pictures I wanted,some would have required me laying on the ground..hahahah
