Hey everyone!
I've been a lurker for a few years and have gained some great insight from the forums. I thought I should finally join the community and participate.

I still consider myself pretty new to saltwater.

I've run a 5 gallon cube, 25 gallon rectangular and now my current tank is a 90 gallon rectangular display with a 30 gallon sump.
6 weeks ago I bought the setup used, and with a severe hair algae infestation, and no visible livestock.
After transferring the setup, doing a 75% water change, scrubbing all live rock, running filtered powerheads and 2 skimmers, water testing, then stocking the tank with hermit crabs, nasarius, turbos, 1 live conch, and 1 lawnmower blenny, I have the algae under control and good water clarity.

Most recent tests show:
Calcium 400-440 ppm
Carbonate hardness 54-70 ppm
Nitrate 0-5 ppm
Phosphate 0.5-1.0 ppm
Ammonia is at zero.

Below is a picture the night it was being filled, second picture is 2 weeks later, and last picture was 2 days ago. I plan on adding corals soon, but am still needing to get rid of two (what I believe to be) aiptasia anemones (pictures below), And I also need help identifying a small orange blob that seems to be growing (also below).

I hope that wasn't too much info, and I look forward to being a part of this community!

Welcome home, you will love it here!

That is in fact sponge in the second photo and aiptasia in the others. The first almost looks majano but I think it’s aiptasia! :)
