Finally Nem hosting

I finally have a bubble tip hosting a clown. I separated a Nem to try and sell or trade and placed it in my makeshift holding container for my new small clowns and both mocha clowns are in and out of the Nem and rubbing all over. I love it. Finally.

I love when they finally find the nem. Mine took 7 months to finally find the darn nem and let it host them. So cool.

thanks, I have the clowns in a separation container and i was going to sell trade the Nem split but now they are hosting... I don't think i want to get rid of it now, lol.
I have a few others in the tank including the mother which is huge compared

I peeked on them early this am on my way out of the house (5:15am) and the 2 mochas where in there rubbing the nem but the nem was tiny and closed.
I am a little worried that I only see the 2 mocha rubbing in there and never see the domino. Dont want the domino to me outed once released into the tank.

If the two clowns have claimed the nem, the domino will not be welcome too close the the nem. They will get very territorial. Does not mean the domino cannot live in the same tank or anything. Depends on size of tank and temperament of clowns. IME once clowns are hosted in nem, they fight anything off that comes near it.

Yes, Under the LED they change so much is crazy. I have noticed the fire orange that had developed. It looks awesome and different times of day while the lights are changing the color pops much more.
Honestly i put up 2 smaller splits for about $100 and i am shocked that no one came running. I had a bunch of interest from local guys but they wanted to trade 5 head frogs like if that was rare or something.
Either way, now that the clowns have claimed it i may just keep them. Im hoping when i let them free into the tank they claim the bigger bubble tip instead of the small one. a lot more room there than this small one they claimed.

No local pick up. Shipped IMO is not worth the trouble for $100, i would charge more plus shipping. I had the mother split about 4 times on me. These things grow fast if fed and split almost on demand.
