After months of research and plenty of questions here, I finally placed an order for my new reef!
My local lfs is setting me up with a Marineland 90 gallon (biggest I could fit in the house without living in the doghouse... Apparently we can't block the hallway or something...) With matching stand and canopy.
I was asking him about ordering me a sump, and he offered me a big package deal that included sump, return pump and plumbing with free setup and delivery. While I sort of wanted to build it myself, I've also made a lot of hardware mistakes, so it didn't take much convincing to let him do it.
I still need a skimmer, need to buy heaters for it, and need to buy more rock. (Upgrading old system). I also need to buy a second light fixture, as I've only got a single black box right now.
What am I forgetting? So excited!!!
(I'll start a build thread once something arrives that I can take a picture of)
My biggest goal with this new system is to do everything right, and everything once. I'm especially tired of replacing hardware over and over again.
